Terms of Service
Effective 28 July 2026 Β· Applies to skillingmain.com
These Terms govern your access to and use of skillingmain.com (the βServiceβ). By creating an account or making a purchase you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your password and API keys secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.
- One account per person. Do not share accounts or credentials.
2. What we sell
We offer two ways to buy, and you may use either or both:
- All-access subscription (monthly or yearly) β access to the full catalogue and higher usage allowances while the subscription is active.
- One-off skill purchases β a single payment for a specific skill, which you keep permanently under the Skill Licence. These are not subscriptions and never renew.
3. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period β monthly or yearly, as selected β until cancelled.
- You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then.
- Annual plans are billed as a single up-front payment for twelve months.
- We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice before the change applies to your next renewal.
4. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply to you; where we are required to collect tax it will be shown at checkout. If a payment fails we may suspend access until it is resolved.
5. Refunds
Skills are digital content delivered immediately, and their content is fully readable once purchased, so purchases are generally final. That said, we would rather have a fair reputation than an extra sale:
- If a skill is materially not as described, or you cannot access what you paid for, contact us within 14 days and we will refund it.
- If you were charged twice, or charged for something you already owned, we will refund it.
- For subscriptions, contact us within 14 days of the first payment of a new subscription and we will refund it if you have made only minimal use of the catalogue.
Where you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days. By purchasing and immediately downloading digital content you may be asked to acknowledge that this right is lost once delivery begins β nothing in these Terms removes rights you cannot waive. Refund requests: [email protected].
We may revoke access to purchased content if a payment is reversed, refunded, or charged back.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or use the Service to help others do so;
- scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract the catalogue;
- resell or redistribute skills in breach of the Skill Licence;
- probe, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
- upload content you do not have the right to publish, or that is unlawful, malicious, or infringing;
- attempt to gain access to accounts, data, or systems that are not yours.
7. Content you publish
You keep ownership of skills you author. By publishing on the Service you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, distribute, and sell your skill through the Service, and to show extracts for marketing. You confirm you have the right to grant this and that your content does not infringe anyone's rights. You can unpublish at any time; we will stop offering it to new customers, while people who already licensed it keep their licence.
We may remove content that breaches these Terms, is subject to a credible legal complaint, or presents a security risk.
8. Skills carry operational risk
Skills instruct AI agents which may execute commands and change real systems. You are responsible for reviewing and supervising what you run. The warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability in the Skill Licence apply to the Service as a whole and are incorporated into these Terms.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and may perform maintenance without notice. Skills you have already downloaded remain usable offline regardless of Service availability β which is precisely why we let you download them.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that materially breaches these Terms, presents a security or fraud risk, or is subject to a chargeback. You may close your account at any time. On termination, one-off licences you have already paid for survive; subscription access ends.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give reasonable notice β by email or an in-product notice β before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction β except that if you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and you keep the protection of its mandatory consumer laws.
Please contact us first at [email protected]. Most disputes can be resolved quickly without formal proceedings.
13. General
If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of the business. These Terms and the Skill Licence are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service.

This is a good-faith draft written for a small software business, not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Consumer-protection, distance-selling, and data-protection rules differ by country β particularly in the EU and UK β and some clauses here may be unenforceable in your jurisdiction.
